Governance for Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance

The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness and the University of Guelph work together in a way that is collaborative, accountable and transparent.

Governance refers to who and how decisions are made about the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance.

To achieve Alliance objectives, we follow a joint governance model. This model is collaborative, accountable and transparent.

The governance model is based on a series of committees. Some are responsible for overseeing the Alliance and some are responsible for delivering programs.

All committees operate under their own terms of reference, membership and specific responsibilities.
