The Cultural Diversity Advisor provides advising and support for students who are Black and racialized. An Advisor is a staff member who provides information about the many supports and resources available to students at U of G. An Advisor can guide and assist you in navigating the university system, explaining and clarifying institutional policies, describing the overarching expectations of students, and facilitating connections with other campus or community supports, resources or services.

Counselling for Black and Racialized Students

Student Experience and Counselling Services have partnered to provide counselling for students who identify as Black and racialized. Counsellors are mental health professionals who offer a safe, confidential space to talk about personal challenges, experiences of racism and discrimination, or any other concerns impacting well-being. Sessions can be booked in advance or day-of.
