Scholarships and Bursaries for Black and Racialized Students

If you have questions or concerns about financial matters, log in to the Student Experience Intranet to connect with the Cultural Diversity Advisor.

Internal Scholarships and Bursaries

Internal awards can be found at Student Financial Services, along with a listing of awards specifically for students who identify as First Nations, Inuit and Métis Students, and Black, Persons of Colour or Racialized Students.

Ontario Student Assistance Program

We encourage all students with financial need to consider applying for Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP).

OSAP provides financial aid through two kinds of support:

  • grants: money you don’t have to pay back
  • loans: money you need to repay once you’re done school

The University of Guelph uses OSAP to determine financial need for all bursaries and Work Study.
