Canadian Math Kangaroo Contest

This competition introduces youth from Grade 1-12 to math challenges in a fun and enjoyable way,
thus inspiring their further interest and advancement in mathematics.

Contest Problems

  • Provocative Problems: Math Kangaroo problems are designed to provoke thought and require a great deal of attention and creative thinking.
  • Interesting Concepts: Math Kangaroo problems cover a wide range of interesting mathematical concepts, providing a comprehensive learning experience.
  • Beauty of Mathematics: Through the Math Kangaroo problems, we aim to show the beauty of mathematics and, thus, increase the appreciation of mathematics.

Welcome to the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the College of Computational, Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the University of Guelph.
