What is Mathematical Science?

Mathematical Science is the application of mathematics and statistics to understanding and solving problems faced in every field of science, arts and industry. Mathematical Science is ideal for students who love mathematics and statistics and want to see how they are applied in real-world settings. Mathematicians and Statisticians are hired in a wide range of fields and industries and studying mathematical science allows you to gain both technical and practical training.

The Mathematical Science Major exists under the Bachelor of Mathematics program as of Fall 2024.
