Course Selection
Course Selection windows for the Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 semesters began opening on Monday, June 23, 2025 according to the number of credits completed and in progress. Course Selection continues for Fall 2025 courses until Friday, September 12, 2025 and for Winter 2026 courses until Friday, January 9, 2026. However, all students taking Fall and Winter courses should plan to select their classes as soon as possible after their window opens, otherwise courses or sections may be full.
Students will be unable to enrol in courses (or make changes) using WebAdvisor/Student Planning during the following time periods due to scheduled maintenance:
- 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 23
- 8 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, August 19 to 8 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, August 20
- 8 a.m. EST on Tuesday, December 9 to 8 a.m. EST on Wednesday, December 10
A reminder that when making additions or changes to class schedules after the Final Exam schedule is posted, students must also ensure that their Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 Final Exam schedules remain conflict-free.
Please note that the information on this page is tentative, and may change often as updates are received. Monitor this page regularly for information regarding course additions, cancellations, changes, restrictions, waitlists and special registration instructions.
A special thanks to the Registrar's Office who have pulled together a list of campus-wide contacts for students to consult regarding Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 Course Restrictions.
Many 1000-level courses will be restricted to first-year students until 2:00PM on July 23, 2025. A detailed list of these and other Priority Access course restrictions will be posted on the Registrar's Office website.

Declaring a Minor
A minor is an optional secondary area of study that can be related to or different from your chosen major. A minor gives you the opportunity to explore a secondary topic that complements your major, is intriguing to you, or is simply something you have always wanted to learn!
