Professional and Career Development Record (PCDR)
The Professional and Career Development Record (PCDR) is a tool built into Experience Guelph that formally recognizes a student's involvement in on- and off-campus professional and career development activities, most notably experiential learning.
Experiential learning is a core part of what we do at the University of Guelph. We believe that students benefit from engaging directly in workplaces and communities where they can apply their learning in real contexts.
Our course-based and co-curricular opportunities are designed to develop transferable skills, expand awareness of work and community issues, and promote collaboration between peers, faculty, and external partners.
The PCDR is designed to help a student reflect on their transferable skill development and make connections between their experiences and their personal, academic, and career goals.
