This resource walks learners through the definition of experiential learning, the types of experiential learning available at U of G, how to choose opportunities, and who to connect with.

Onboarding for Student-Staff (CourseLink resource)

This resource is for students engaged in experiential learning opportunities. The goal of this resource is to help students learn more about what experiential learning is, how to build good relationships with supervisors and colleagues, and how to meaningfully reflect on experiences as a tool for career development.

Financial Support

On-campus Employment Programs (for students with demonstrated financial need)

  • The Work Study Program provides students with demonstrated financial need the opportunity to meet their educational costs while developing transferable knowledge, skills, and attitudes through part-time paid work experiences on campus during their registered term.
  • The Undergraduate Research Assistantship (URA) Program is a competitive program that provides summer research opportunities to undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need.
