Welcome to Co-op

As a co-op student at the University of Guelph, you gain relevant work experience, build professional networks, and develop essential skills needed to succeed in the workplace—all while getting paid and earning your university degree.

With over 7,000 students across 65+ co-op programs, the University of Guelph is home to the 2nd largest university co-op program in Ontario, and the 5th largest university co-op program in Canada.

First year students, it may not be too late to apply for Co-op!

Submit an application for In-course Admission to be considered for Co-op. Application deadlines are in the Fall and Winter semesters, depending on your program. Admission is competitive and is based on grades and available space.
