Cleaning and Garbage Disposal

Washrooms

• Thorough Cleaning: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
• Maintenance: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (supplies restocked, garbage removed, messes cleaned).
• Deep Cleaning: Scrubbed twice a semester.

Common Areas

• Lounges and Kitchens: Cleaned on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
• Corridors: Vacuumed Tuesday and Thursday.
• Stairs: Swept and washed Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Public Areas and Entrances: Cleaned daily (Monday through Sunday).

Garbage and Recycling

• Garbage Collection: Daily, including weekends.

Floor Maintenance

• Tile Floors: Buffed and refinished as required.

Washrooms

• Alcove Washrooms: Serviced on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
• Suite Washrooms: Serviced on Thursday (10:30 AM - 2:00 PM) or by request.
• Public Washrooms: Cleaned daily, including weekends.

Common Areas

• Lounges, Kitchenettes, and Microwave Rooms: Cleaned on Tuesday and Thursday.
• TV Lounges (Mountain, Prairie, and Maritime): Vacuumed on Tuesday and Thursday. Garbage is removed daily.
• Hallway Carpets: Fully vacuumed on Tuesday and spot vacuumed on Thursday.
• Street Level House Stairs: Swept and washed on Thursday.
• Cement Stairwells: Maintained biweekly. Not washed in winter due to freezing conditions.
• Laundry Rooms: Maintained daily, including weekends.

Garbage and Recycling

• Lounge and Street Level Garbage: Removed daily, including weekends.
• Recycling: Removed from street level daily, including weekends.

Floor Maintenance

• Bicycle/Hockey Storage Rooms (Maritime and Prairie) and Gym (Mountain): Maintained weekly.

Washrooms

• Suite Washrooms: Serviced on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
• Public Washrooms: Cleaned daily, including weekends.
• Deep Cleaning: Scrubbed every five weeks, subject to staffing and washroom condition

Common Areas

• Suite Common Area Carpets: Vacuumed weekly. Half on Tuesday, the other half on Thursday.
• Main Floor Hallways: Cleaned daily, including weekends.
• TV and Fireplace Lounges, Study Rooms, and Laundry Facilities: Cleaned daily (Monday to Friday).

Garbage and Recycling

• East Towers:
  • Floor Level Garbage: Removed daily, including weekends.
  • Suite Garbage: Residents must take it to garbage rooms on each floor.
  • Recycling: Residents must bring recycling to street-level bins. Cardboard must be placed in the outside bin near the Lanark loading dock.
• East Village Townhouses:
  • Garbage must be set outside of the unit in clear bags
  • The window to put garbage outside the unit is 8am-11am (not before, not after) and only on pick-up days
  • Pick up days are Mondays and Thursdays only

Additional Areas

• Stairs: Maintained weekly, usually on Thursday.
• Tile Floors: Refurbished yearly between May and July.
