Conditional Offers of Admission

Conditional Offers Of Admission

Any offer of admission that you receive from the University of Guelph is conditional upon the following:

  • Completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent; and
  • Completion of six Grade 12 and/or 4U/M courses, including required subjects, or equivalent; and
  • A minimum final admission average as outlined in your offer of admission.
Note: all conditions must be fulfilled by August 14, 2026

Offer Conditions for Applicants within Canada, outside of Ontario:

  • If you are currently enrolled in a high school within Canada, outside of Ontario, you must complete all requirements for your high school diploma, including specific subject requirements at the Grade 12 academic level. You can review specific conditions by province.

Submitting Final Grades

Ontario High School Applicants:

  • Your school will submit grades to the OUAC on your behalf.

Note: if you are not currently enrolled, you must make arrangements to have your school submit official, final grades to the OUAC, or submit official transcripts to Admission Services on your behalf.

High School Applicants Outside of Ontario:

Your official, final transcript must be submitted by your issuing school or your provincial Ministry of Education to Admission Services at applicant@uoguelph.ca or by mail. Documents submitted by the applicant themselves are considered unofficial.

  • Note: British Columbia schools submit grade data electronically to the OUAC. We will automatically receive final grades and confirmation of graduation from the OUAC
  • CEGEP applicants (Quebec): Your results will be sent automatically via the OUAC if your Quebec CÉGEP code is present on your application. If not, your final transcript must be submitted by your CÉGEP directly to Admission Services.
