Sustainable Urban Agriculture Certificate Transition Pathway

Information for Existing Sustainable Urban Agriculture (SUA) Certificate Students

Effective December 31, 2025, the Sustainable Urban Agriculture Certificate will begin to phase out. As of December 31, 2026, the certificate will no longer be offered.

If you have not completed the four required courses and one elective course, you will need to complete these courses prior to December 31, 2026 to be eligible to receive the certificate. Please see the table below for more detailed information on program requirements up to December 31, 2026.

If you have successfully completed one or more courses within the Sustainable Urban Agriculture Certificate prior to December 31, 2025, the following options are available to you:

The above table will help you to identify and register in the courses you need to complete the Sustainable Urban Agriculture Certificate. If you have not completed the four required courses and one elective course, you will need to complete these courses prior to December 31, 2026 to be eligible to receive the certificate.

If you have successfully completed all courses within the Certificate as of December 31, 2025, you are eligible to apply to receive your parchment and graduate with a Sustainable Urban Agriculture Certificate.
