Why Study Real Estate at U of G?

Graduates of the Real Estate program will have the analytical, conceptual and managerial skills needed to succeed in the high-growth real estate industry. Students will develop a strong foundation of core business skills, including finance, marketing and economics, while obtaining a specialized education in real estate. You’ll explore new uses for different types of real estate while considering the economic, social and environmental variables that factor into decision-making.

Engage In a Truly Unique Degree

The Real Estate major in the Bachelor of Commerce program is one of only a few undergraduate programs in Canada that specialize in the real estate sector. It takes a multi-disciplinary approach to the study of residential and commercial/investment real estate.

Take Part In Interdisciplinary Studies

Topics such as the development, financing, valuation, market analysis and management of real estate are taught in the context of economic, legal, political and social factors affecting the large and growing field of business of real estate in Canada and the world.

Build Your Career Foundation

Students graduate with a degree that can lead to a variety of professional positions in the private or public sectors of the Canadian real estate industry, or they can continue on to graduate work in business, planning or the social sciences.
